BATCHTRAXTM SUPERVISORY CONTROL
BatchTraxTM is a microprocessor-based system capable of archiving furnace process variables and monitoring mechanical motion. The system centers on a Pentium IV desktop computer mounted in an industrial operator interface enclosure. BatchTraxTM collects information from multiple CaseMasterTM systems and other control devices to provide single-point access to your process. Providing historical and real-time trending, batch reporting, color-graphic displays and recipe management, BatchTraxTM provides a window into the heat treatment department.
Recipe and Parts Management
BatchTraxTM provides easy to use, intuitive databases for recipe and parts storage. The parts database contains field that allow you to describe your part in detail. Information such as part number, part weight, part description and part material are included in the Parts database. In addition, each part definition record includes a field linking the part to a multi-step recipe.
Trending
BatchTraxTM includes the advanced trending tools you need to monitor the process within all equipment connected to the BatchTraxTM system. These trending tools allow you to view process data in different time ranges and data scales. Control buttons, configured much like VCR control buttons, allow you to view data from any time period. Isolated graphing displays each data point in a separated trend. BatchTraxTM stores historical data for up to eight weeks for all process variables it tracks. These files are stored in a DB IV format, allowing you to read the data into common office software products.
Batch Reporting
BatchTraxTM offers the user comprehensive batch reports. These reports contain all part related information. Information such as, part number, part description, equipment used and others is reported in the header section of the report. Statistical calculations provide the Min, Max, Mean and Standard Deviation for each process variable in each piece of equipment in which the batch was processed. Color trends track the batch throughout the entire process and provide a view of the process parameters that the batch saw throughout the process.
Animated Graphics
BatchTraxTM contains all of the screens used for the monitoring and control of each piece of equipment connected to it. In addition to these screens, BatchTraxTM provides a birds-eye view of all heat treatment equipment. This animated 'Overview" screen shows the user the status of all equipment; the auto/manual state, alarm state, and recipe execution status. You'll use this screen to develop an accurate picture of the entire line status.
Our batch tracking screens displays the location and status of every batch currently in process. You may locate a batch by part number, batch number or tray number. Useful statistics including estimated time of completion are displayed for each batch.
Advanced alarming functions are a hallmark of every BatchTraxTM system. Our system collects every alarm generated by the elements of the line. These alarms are displayed in a historical format. You can filter this display to show only active alarms or by specific alarm locations. We go to great lengths to provide alarming that is accurate and informative. Once the proper limits are established, nuisance alarms are virtually eliminated. Alarms relating to motion or automatic sequences direct the user to the possible locations of the faults. Maintenance personnel enjoy that fact that our system directs them to the device and wire number that may be the cause of failure.
